Bird watching and wildlife photography in Danube Delta
Danube Delta is home to hundreds of species of animals and birds. It’s definitely the place to be in Europe if you want to see nature at its wildest. 327 bird species are present in the Danube Delta of which 141 are water birds - more than 81% of Europe’s aquatic avian fauna. There is simply no better place in Europe for bird watching.
Enjoy a late evening barbecue on the wild beaches near Sulina
Danube Delta is one of the least light polluted areas in Europe. The night sky here is absolutely amazing. Also, the locals know how to do a barbecue… And if you have a cold beer, great company and somebody playing the guitar… cannot get any better.
